Applying for Emergency Assistance via Phone

To get connected with Emergency Assistance for the first time:

  1. Caller dials (866) 584-0653 between the hours of 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday through Friday

  2. Caller presses “1” to start a new EA application

  3. Caller will be connected to a call center agent who will collect the family information

  4. Following the call, a field coordinator will pass the information to a Homeless Coordinator, and a Homeless Coordinator will reach out to the family via a phone call

  5. The Homeless Coordinator will help the family complete the EA application and see if they are eligible.

To Reconnect with a Homeless Coordinator:

Once a caller has already been working with a Homeless Coordinator, they can easily connect back with the Homeless Coordinator using their extension (if known)
